CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Keegan Bradley's steady play at the 2014 Greenbrier Classic earned him a tie for fourth.

Like every other player in the field, he couldn't stay with Angel Cabrera and his back-to-back 64s in the final two rounds that led to the Argentine's third PGA Tour victory.

Bradley, who seemed to tame the par 70, 7,287-yard layout with a 9-under 271 last year, has committed to competing in the sixth annual Greenbrier Classic June 29-July 4 at the Greenbrier's Old White TPC in White Sulphur Springs.

This will be the fourth trip to the Greenbrier for Bradley, who tied for 43rd and 46th in 2011 and 2012, respectively, before his top-five finish last year.

The three-time PGA Tour champion is one of four commitments announced on Thursday that includes Stanford alumnus Maverick McNealy, the winner of this year's Haskins Award as the nation's most outstanding collegiate golfer, as well as Alabama's Justin Thomas, the third-youngest golfer to make the cut in a PGA Tour event and the 2012 winner of the Haskins Award, and Peter Uihlein, a member of the European Tour and was 4-0 in matches at the 2009 Walker Cup.

The field has reached 63 with the players having until 5 p.m. the Friday before the tournament to officially commit.

Bradley's finish in 2014 at the Old White TPC was one of six top 10s for the former St. John's University star.

This season, Bradley has three top 10s and no titles, not winning a PGA Tour championship since 2012. He's perhaps best known this year for verbal scuffle with Miguel Angel Jimenez at the Players Championship in May. A drop on the final hole was a bone of contention for the players and their caddies. Aired on the Golf Channel, Bradley's caddie, Steven Hale, can be heard telling Jimenez, "Do not tell me to shut up," followed by Bradley telling Jimenez, "Don't tell him to shut up."

Bradley later called it "just a heat-of-the-moment thing."

Despite Bradley's failure to win any of the 15 events in which he has participated this season, he has made the cut in all but two of them.

Jimenez, a regular on the European Tour, has not played in the Classic and has competed in just three PGA Tour events this season.

McNealy will be the third Haskins Award winner to play in the Classic - following former college teammate Patrick Rodgers (2014), California's Michael Kim (2013) and Thomas (2012) - since the recipient began receiving an exemption to the Classic.

McNealy has just completed his sophomore season for the Cardinal as No. 1 player in the GolfWeek/Sagarin Rankings. He led NCAA Division I with six collegiate victories this year.

The tournament week begins on June 29 with practice rounds on June 29-30, followed by the Pro-Am on July 1. The 72-hole tournament begins on July 2.

The week includes the Greenbrier Classic Concert Series with Keith Urban and The Band Perry performing beginning at 8 p.m. on July 1 and Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton at 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. respectively on July 3 at the State Fair of West Virginia fairgrounds in Fairlea.

Local Ford deals are also sponsoring a vehicle giveaway, allowing fans the opportunity to register to win a new Ford vehicle during each competitive round.

Fans must register daily at the Ford display located along the fairway of the No. 12 hole. The drawing will take place on the 18th green immediately following the completion of play on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The winner must be present on the 18th green when drawing occurs.

Returning to the Classic is the Hole-in-One Jackpot, which resulted in a $100 payout to each fan on the No. 18 green following Bud Cauley's ace at last year's tournament.

Spectators located in the bleachers and lawn area of No. 18 beginning with Wednesday's Pro-Am and continuing through each competitive round, will receive a $100 payout for the first hole in one; $500 for the second hole in one; and $1,000 for the third hole in one.

Weekly badges to the Classic, which provide access to the tournament grounds Monday to Sunday, are available from $129 per person while supplies last and include tickets to each concert.

For more information on tournament badges, go to www.greenbrierclassic.com, or call the tournament ticket office at 304-536-5322.
