A quartet of notable former West Virginia University football coaches and players have joined the Greenbrier Classic's Pro-Am, to be held Wednesday, July 5 at The Old White TPC.

Former head coach Don Nehlen, former quarterbacks Jeff Hostetler and Marc Bulger and former punter Pat McAfee have joined the field.

Nehlen is a College Football Hall of Famer who won 202 games as head coach of West Virginia and Bowling Green and led the Mountaineers to two undefeated regular seasons.

Nehlen coached both Hostetler, his now-son-in-law, and Bulger during their WVU careers. Both went on to the NFL. Hostetler played for the New York Giants, Oakland Raiders and Washington Redskins for a 15-year career that included a 1994 Pro Bowl berth and a Super Bowl XXV win. Bulger was drafted by the New Orleans Saints, but spent most of his career with the St. Louis Rams, being named twice to the Pro Bowl.

McAfee was an All-American punter at WVU who was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts, spent eight seasons there and was named to two Pro Bowls.

Complimentary grounds badges are available for the Classic until midnight June 30. To register, go to GreenbrierClassic.com.
