Webb Simpson has three top 10 finishes among his five appearances at the Greenbrier Classic, but no titles.
The 2012 U.S. Open champion will take another shot at the Old White TPC, committing to competing in the sixth annual Classic June 29-July 7 at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs.
Simpson, Brandt Snedeker and Bubba Watson joined Tiger Woods as commitments to the tournament, which gets underway with practice rounds June 29-30 and continues with the Pro-Am on July 1 before the 72-hole tournament begins on July 1.
The announcement was made the same day as the Greenbrier revealed the addition of Keith Urban and The Band Perry to the Greenbrier Concert Series.
"This year will unquestionably be the best Greenbrier Classic in our tournament's history," Greenbrier owner Jim Justice said in a press release. "We're very proud to announce Keith Urban and The Band Perry to the 2015 Greenbrier Classic Concert Series, as well as player commitments from Bubba, Brandt, Webb and of course, Tiger Woods. We're truly excited for our fans, who will be treated to a superstar lineup on and off the course."
Simpson was third from last in the inaugural Classic, missing the cut with a 10-over 150 after two rounds before the course was lengthened.
Simpson then finished two strokes off the pace of champion Scott Stallings in a tie for ninth in 2011; five strokes behind Ted Potter Jr. and in a tie for seventh in 2012; and six strokes behind Angel Cabrera and in third place last year. The native of Raleigh, N.C. finished in a tie for 41st in 2013, but he and Jimmy Walker are the only players to play in every Greenbrier Classic with at least three top 10 finishes.
Walker tied for fourth in 2010 and 2011 and tied for second in 2013.
Snedeker played in the Greenbrier Classic 2010-12, but has taken the three weeks off the last two seasons between the last tournament of June and the British Open in mid-July while fighting through rib and knee injuries. Snedeker, who has seven PGA Tour victories since turning pro in 2004, made the cut in nine consecutive tournaments and 17 of 18 during the 2014 season.
Watson, who owns a home on the Greenbrier property, will be playing in his third straight Classic after finishing in a tie for 30th (2013) and a tie for 16th (2014).
The winner of the 2012 and 2014 Masters is one of the more popular players on Tour and is part of a group of players representing the Greenbrier Resort along with Simpson. They display the Greenbrier logo on their golf bags while participating in all professional golf tournaments.
In last year's Classic, Watson was steady in finishing 7-under par. However, Cabrera's back-to-back 64s the final two rounds propelled him to his third PGA Tour title.
Watson has at least one PGA Tour win in five of the last six seasons, including a win at the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions in November.
Woods announced him decision to play in the Greenbrier Classic via his Twitter feed on April 29.
He'll be making his second appearance in White Sulphur Springs after shooting an even-par 140 and missing the cut in 2012.
